Exhibition Walkthrough with KB Jones

On the occasion of the final day of KB Jones's solo show The Land and the Fog, Rachel Uffner Gallery invites you to an exhibition walkthrough with the artist. The event will conclude with a Q&A between the artist and the audience. This event is free and open to the public.
 
KB Jones (b. 1979, Huntsville, Texas) earned an MFA in Painting from The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque and a BA in Philosophy and Visual Art from Columbia University, New York, NY. Jones was awarded a residency at The Chinati Foundation in 2020. Her work is currently included in Plein Air at the Armory Center for Arts in Los Angeles, curated by Aurora Tang. Recent exhibition spaces also include MOCA Tucson, Bad Water Gallery, Knoxville, Tennessee, and ArtLot, Brooklyn, NY. Jones’ drawings and paintings have been featured in and on the cover of several publications, most recently Stacy Szymaszek’s Famous Hermits (2023) and Hurricane Review (2022). The cover of The Poetry Project’s Winter Newsletter featured her drawing of Bernadette Mayer, and, this coming October, a collaboration between her and the dancer and choreographer Kyle Gerry will be presented at The Poetry Project as part of their Halloween Benefit. Jones currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
